SEPS is a product of SIS selective hydrogenation, which is much better than SIS in terms of
heat resistance, aging resistance and mechanical properties. There is no industrial SIS
hydrogenation unit in China, so all SEPS products rely on imports, the annual consumption of
about 30,000 tons per year.
